Macclesfield is a town located in Cheshire, close to the Peak District National Park. During the industrial revolution, the town was a major producer of silk, which created a great deal of wealth. Tameside
Tameside, which is located just east of city centre Manchester, is home to the towns of Ashton under Lyne, Denton and Hyde. Tameside was a centre of engineering, cotton, hat making and coal mining during the Industrial Revolution. The borough boasts access to affordable homes, good schools, beautiful countryside and excellent transport links to the centre of Manchester.
