Thorpe & Co Joins Property Genius!

We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you: as of 26th November 2025, Thorpe & Co has officially joined forces with Property Genius. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter for both companies, one built on shared values, strong relationships, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Thorpe & Co have built a highly respected lettings and management business over the years, and we intend to keep it that way. We’re not here to change what works, we’re here to build on it. 

This marks a significant milestone for both companies and means we now serve over 550 managed properties across Manchester and Salford. It’s a sign of our continued growth and our commitment to delivering the best value and service to landlords and tenants alike.

What’s Staying the Same?

• Lyn and Jennine will continue in their current roles, offering the same dependable and familiar service you’ve come to expect.

• David Thorpe will remain involved in a consultancy capacity for at least the next 12 months and beyond, to ensure a smooth transition.

• The Salford office will remain open and operating as usual, giving us a second base alongside our original office in Chorlton.

• There will be no immediate changes to how you work with us. The team, the service, and your day-to-day experience will remain unchanged.

• No change to existing fees — we’re committed to maintaining value and continuity.

What’s New?

This merger allows us to bring together the best of both businesses:

• Greater coverage across Manchester, with a strong presence in both Chorlton and Salford.

• A wider pool of knowledge, experience, and resources to better support our landlords and tenants.

• A phased plan to bring everything under the Property Genius brand, but we’ll take our time to get it right.

We’ll continue to introduce improvements gradually and keep you informed every step of the way. Any updates will be communicated clearly and with plenty of notice.
